Data quality warning

A system-generated flag indicating that a lease or entity has missing or potentially incomplete data that affects the statutory note.

Definition

Data quality warnings are generated when the system detects that required information is missing or incomplete — for example, a lease without a completed calculation run, a missing discount rate rationale, or a lease without an asset class. They are flagged before the statutory note is generated so that issues can be resolved rather than silently producing an incomplete disclosure.

Why it matters

Producing a statutory note with incomplete data risks signing accounts that do not faithfully represent the lease position. Data quality warnings ensure the team is aware of gaps before the note is finalised.

In AuditLease

AuditLease generates data quality warnings at the top of the statutory note preview. Blocking warnings must be resolved before the note is marked ready for signing.
