AI extraction in AuditLease is designed around a mandatory human review step. No lease data is created, saved, or posted without explicit confirmation from the preparer. This ensures compliance with the accounting standards requirement that judgements are made by a responsible person, not automated.
How it works
Upload the lease PDF
Select a lease PDF from your device. AuditLease accepts documents up to 100 MB depending on your plan.
AI extracts the key terms
The extraction engine reads the document and pulls out commencement date, lease term, payment schedule, break options, renewal clauses, and other key fields.
You review every field
The extracted data is shown for review. Each field displays the confidence level. You can edit, correct, or reject any value before proceeding.
Confirm to create the lease
Only after you explicitly confirm does a draft lease get created. Nothing is posted automatically. The lease then goes through the normal calculation workflow.
What gets extracted
The extraction engine attempts to identify and populate the following fields from your lease document. Fields that cannot be identified with sufficient confidence are flagged for manual entry.
Monthly import limits by plan
AI import is available from Starter plan onwards. Limits reset each calendar month and unused allowances do not roll over.
